ALISON IROKO NATURE

Wood, 120x35 mm, made of solid iroko, natural finish, kiln-dried. Processed using CNC machines, mitred joints are assembled at 45° and finished by hand. Iroko wood is treated with a highly UV protective, weather-resistant varnish. Second metal frame varnished for outdoor use. Woven exterior elastic straps, made of synthetic rubber and polypropylene, resistant to UV damage. Aging is a natural and fairly rapid process and tends to make iroko wood more homogeneous over time. Like most kinds of wood, iroko does not have uniform colour and veining. Thus, it’s possible to find nuances of colour that are not perfectly harmonious. This should not be considered a defect in the material but rather a valuable asset of solid wood. Given its exposure to the sun and the aging process, the initial shade of colour can have noticeable differences depending on geographic location.

Backrest cushions consist of a quilted breathable heat-bonded fibre laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric with siliconised microfibre padding - with low coefficient of friction - which completely conforms to the structure. This very soft fluffy padding is obtained from certified 100% recycled PET. All of the materials employed in manufacturing the quilting are hypoallergenic. Seat cushion padding in high-resilience polyurethane foam encased in hypoallergenic synthetic fibre. In order to increase the resistance of seat, backrest and armrest cushioning to water and humidity, all the cushions are encased in a waterproof polyester lining with traditional stitching. All the Accessories used in their manufacture - zippers, thread - are water repellent and therefore suited to outdoor use.

Fully removable cushion covers. Polished stainless steel feet slotted into the solid wood. Rubber protection.
