Tape

Firmada por el ecléctico estudio japonés Nendo, dirigido por Oki Sato, Tape es una colección de asientos caracterizada por su marcada personalidad y su silueta ligera que incluye un sillón con o sin brazos, una butaca de salón, una poltrona, un sofá de dos o tres plaza y un puf.

Con un gesto irónico, el diseñador invierte el modelo tradicional, en el que las patas de apoyo salen del cuerpo del asiento, y las coloca en el exterior de la estructura.

Tape debe su nombre a un detalle couture, el fragmento de cinta que ciñe las patas de metal color Bronce: un declarado homenaje de Nendo a la experiencia sartorial de Minotti.

Su línea refinada y envolvente aparece remarcada por la suave curva del bastidor que delinea el brazo y que acoge un cojín para el respaldo de formas únicas.

Personalizable en una amplia gama de revestimientos de piel y tejido, presenta dos posibles juegos de combinaciones.

En una versión, el tejido reviste el respaldo y el cojín del asiento, mientras que el bastidor y el detalle tape son de piel del mismo color; en la otra, el tejido reviste el respaldo, el cojín del asiento y todo el bastidor y el detalle tape es de cuero color Bronce. 

Con su fuerte identidad formal y sus impecables proporciones, Tape se convierte en protagonista del espacio que la aloja, tanto en ámbito residencial como hostelero.

  Structure

  Solid wood with high natural rubber content elastic strap webbing. Backrest is coated in fire-resistant polyurethane foam and the seat in variable density polyurethane foam. Backrest and seat cased in breathable heat-bonded fiber laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric for added softness.

  Cushions

  Backrest cushion padding in heat-bonded fiber with center insert in polyurethane foam.

  Covers

  Backrest and structure cushion upholstery covers are completely removable in all versions (fabric and leather).

  Base

  Metal painted with a polish antifingerprint Bronze varnished. The front legs are protected by a strip of curved metal in the same finish as the base. The back legs have a leather or saddle-hide trim. Adjustable stainless-steel feet painted Bronze colour. Black protective polyethylene glides.

  INFORMATION REGARDING UPHOLSTERY AND COVERS

  A) upholstered completely in fabric or leather; B) upholstery of backrest structure in Napa leather - Extra grade leather category - and backrest cushions and seat cushions in fabric; C) upholstery of seat back structure in Aspen leather or Nabuk Lodge leather – Natural leather category - and backrest cushions and seat cushions in fabric.

  N.B.

  When the backrest is upholstered in leather, the posterior trim is made of the same leather; when the backrest is upholstered in fabric, the trim is in Bronze colour saddle-hide. To facilitate removal of upholstery covers, the backrest can be removed from the base through a system of quick set and release closures.
